This month, we speak to Lauren Hirose-Afshari, Art Director at Honey, a design and marketing studio based in Sacramento, CA with a focus in food, beverage, and agriculture. With background in Industrial design and UX design, Lauren brings a unique perspective and approach when it comes to designing digital and tangible experiences for brands. Lauren is joined by Marko Dugonjić, lecturer, educator, author and Director of User Experience at SymSoft Solutions, specializing in complex information and service-based design systems.
Creativity Speaks is a program designed to celebrate local creatives, offer attendees a source of inspiration from creatives outside their industry, and strengthen Sacramento’s creative community. The program manifests as live salon-style events and features traditional and non-traditional creatives to help draw a mixed audience and encourage intermingling between creative industries. Creativity Speaks is dedicated to equitable representation and a celebration of the diversity of creative thought.
